Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Your first office visit will consist of a complete history and mental status examination which will allow the physicians/provider to become acquainted with you and your psychological and mental health condition. It is billed accordingly
When you come into the office for your first visit, you will be asked to provide basic information which will become part of your record. This information includes personal data, medications and insurance information required to file a claim with your insurance company. We will scan your insurance card at that time. You will also be asked for a photo ID. If any of this information changes, you should notify our office at once.
After each visit, your provider will indicate when he/she wishes to see you again or if he/she wishes for you to follow up with a Nurse Practitioner or with the therapist and or other provider in the office.
At your first visit (or any time during the course of your treatment), we will provide you an access to our patient portal. Where you can view your visit summary, list of medication prescribed with refills, and upcoming appointments etc. You can also make payment to your bills.
Sometime your illnesses do not allow you to arrange a visit far in advance and we make every effort to see you as quickly as possible. When you call for an appointment due to illness, you will be asked the nature of the problem so that an appropriate amount of time can be scheduled. This type of appointment will most likely be scheduled with one of either your provider, psychiatrist or Nurse Practitioner or even with therapist who are trained to help you in crisis. These appointments made based on the availability of the provider.
Many of our patients come in on a regular basis for routine injections or blood pressure checks, Urine drug screens, or Medication Education or pill counts etc. as previously ordered by their provider. These are considered nurse visits and do not require an appointment. This work is done on Monday to Friday (except Tuesday) during regular business hours and usually can be done as walk-ins. These visits are charge as nurse visits if you do not see the provider face to face that day.
